Packaging supplies firm Packed Up, headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, has achieved three ISO certifications covering quality, environmental management and occupational health and safety.
The company has achieved ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001 for Environmental Management Systems and ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety Management.
Founded in 2021, the company employs 12 people and was recently acquired by Northern Ireland-based Hub Packaging.
‘Important milestone’
Packed Up supplies general packaging and consumables, including boxes, tape, strapping and bubble wrap. It also supplies food packaging and printed packaging, alongside a procurement service.
Sean McConochie, managing director at Packed Up, said: “Achieving all three ISO certifications is an important milestone for Packed Up and a reflection of the standards we want to set as our business continues to grow.

“As we expand, it is important that we continue to strengthen the systems and processes behind that service while maintaining our focus on quality, environmental responsibility and the health and safety of our team.”
Earlier this month UK-based thermoformed packaging specialist Kingsmoor Packaging revealed it has maintained its BRCGS AA grade under the updated version 7 of the Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards for another year.
The certification system spans grade D to AA (highest) and acknowledges compliance with rigorous requirements on manufacturing practices, hygiene, quality control, and food safety.
