Fabozzi switch for Oerlikon HRSflow

Hot runner systems manufacturer Oerlikon HRSflow has a new general manager for North America at the helm.

Thierry Fabozzi succeeds Italo Bincoletto, who has become the North America president for the company.

The appointments were part of a ‘structured succession plan’ developed in collaboration with Bincoletto, who will continue to support the business in sales and strategy as president, Oerlikon HRSflow said.

Fabozzi, who has more than 30 years’ experience in packaging technology and is said to have a strong multicultural approach, will be responsible for expanding the company’s presence in the US market, with a particular focus on the packaging, medical, consumer goods, and logistics sectors.

Plastic Technologies Inc

Fabozzi joins from Plastic Technologies Inc (PTI), a company he served for 13 years, initially as managing director of PTI Europe in Yverdon, Switzerland. He then became president chief executive of PTI in Ohio, USA in 2017.

Fabozzi has also held key roles with Nestlé and Tetra Pak.

“This new organisational structure strengthens our ability to serve the North American market,” Oerlikon HRSflow chief executive Andrea Peruch said.

“With such strong leadership, having both Italo and Thierry on board, we aim to reinforce our leading position in the automotive sector while expanding packaging and medical fields too. Our goal is to deliver a seamless, 360-degree service to our customers.”
