Tomra to support DRS roll out in Quebec

The building of the new container return centres follows on from the expansion of the Canadian province’s DRS on 1 November

Tomra is to supply Quebec with 1,350 reverse vending machines (RVMs) after the Canadian province announced an expansion of its deposit return system (DRS). As part of the agreement with the Quebec Beverage Container Recycling Association, Tomra will supply RVMs for the collection, sorting, and processing of beverage containers for new recycling depots starting in 2024….
