Zotefoams announces Polyformes as approved fabricator for EMEA

Global foam manufacturer Zotefoams has appointed specialist PE foam converter Polyformes as an approved fabricator for EMEA.

London-headquartered Zotefoams, whose advanced foam materials are used in high-performance applications and packaging for brands including Boeing, Airbus and Nike, said the appointment of Polyformes strengthened the company’s capability in engineered industrial packaging – with a particular focus on protective foam inserts, trays and case solutions for high-value equipment, tools, technical components and defence-related applications.

UK-based Polyformes has been part of Macfarlane Packaging since 2024 and has operated for more than four decades.

Claimed to be one of Europe’s largest PE foam converters and a specialist manufacturer, supplier and converter of high-performance foam products, Polyformes provides bespoke foam packaging, trays and inserts, engineered parts, cases, bags, and boxes for customers across industrial and technical markets.

Printing, cutting, engraving

Converting capabilities include machining, moulding, thermoforming, waterjet cutting, splitting, skiving, printing, die cutting, laser engraving, and bespoke flight-case making.

The appointment formalises a long-standing relationship between Zotefoams and Polyformes and was made under Zotefoams’ recently launched Global Partner Programme, which is said to provide a structured framework for working with select fabricators, distributors and specialist partners across Europe, North America and Asia.

The initiative is designed to enhance what Zotefoams claims is a ‘best-in-class service’ across markets and applications, and to align its network of distributors with its own quality standards.

“Industrial packaging is a highly technical application, particularly where customers are moving, storing, or handling high-value equipment, tools or precision components,” said Fabrice Lacroix, sales director EMEA at Zotefoams.

‘Deep expertise’

“Polyformes brings deep expertise in precision-engineered foam packaging and a strong understanding of how materials need to perform once they are converted into inserts, trays, cases and protective assemblies.

“Formalising the relationship through our Global Approved Partner Programme strengthens our ability to support customers across EMEA with approved fabrication expertise, dependable service and a clear route to specialist packaging support.”

Emma Atterbury, general manager at Polyformes, added: “Joining Zotefoams’ Global Approved Partner Programme is an important milestone for Polyformes and reflects the strength of the relationship we have built with Zotefoams to date.

“Our business has always focused on converting foam materials into practical, engineered solutions that protect valuable equipment and make handling, storage, and transport more reliable.

“This appointment gives us a strong platform to support customers across industrial packaging and defence-related markets, backed by Zotefoams’ technical knowledge and materials portfolio.”
