SABMiller said to have rejected $100bn offer

As stories circulated that SABMiller had rejected an informal offer from Anheuser-Busch InBev that valued the company at US$100 billion (£66.4bn), the London-based brewer issued a trading statement nine days ahead of schedule that indicated it would prosper in coming years, deal or no deal.
