Silver nanoparticles double fresh milk shelf life

Two Brazil-based firms, nanotechnology specialist Nanox and agribusiness supplier Agrindus claim to have more than doubled the shelf life of fresh whole milk from seven to 15 days by adding active nanoparticles into the rigid plastics bottles used for packaging.
