LLDPE reactor hits mechanical completion

Nova Chemicals has finalised the mechanical completion of the third gas phase reactor at its Alberta, Canada site. The PE1 Expansion project is designed to produce approximately one billion pounds (around 450,000 tonnes) of linear LLDPE annually, which is a 40 per cent increase in the Joffre site nameplate PE capacity.
