Shawpak has relocated to a new, purpose-built 27,000 sq ft headquarters in Castle Donington, England.
The company, which designs and manufactures machinery for packaging medical devices, has moved from its previous site in Allenton, Derby. Around 50 employees are now based at the new premises, located at Unit 5A, Stud Brook Business Park.
Established in 2013, Shawpak specialises in equipment such as rotary thermoforming machines, rigid blister systems and pouch packaging solutions. Its products are used by healthcare companies globally, with operations supported by teams in both Europe and North America.
The new site is situated close to East Midlands Airport and Junction 24 of the M1. The company said the facility will support its plans for future growth, offering improved infrastructure and transport links.
Alan Wade, operations director at Shawpak, said: “This move marks an exciting new chapter for Shawpak. The new facility not only gives us the space and resources to grow, but it also reflects the forward-thinking, high-spec approach we take in everything we do.”
The relocation consolidates Shawpak’s operations in the East Midlands, where it has maintained a manufacturing presence since its founding.
