Caps and closures manufacturer Maca Engineering has agreed to acquire Italy’s MST Equipment, a company specialised in the production of lining and assembly machines for multiple types of plastics closures, under the Lamfi brand.
With this strategic acquisition, expected to be finalised in the coming weeks, Macca Engineering aims to further expand its product portfolio and strengthen its presence in the market of machines to produce plastics and aluminium caps.
Today, Maca Engineering has more than 1,000 machines installed worldwide, to which the over 800 machines of Lamfi are added.
“Being able to rely on the experience and resources of Maca Engineering (Arol Group) will allow us to develop even more advanced and personalised solutions to meet the specific needs of our customers all around the world,” said Matteo Marzini, chief executive of MST Equipment.
