Mosca merges with Spanish market in mind

Transport packaging provider Mosca has merged with strapping machine supplier Reisopack as it targets the Spanish market.

Both companies will continue to work with their respective product ranges in their traditional market segments, Mosca said in a statement.

Mosca offers end-of-line systems for the industrial packaging market, and Reisopack provides applications for agricultural products.

MoRe Packaging Group has been established as a holding company for the legally independent units Reisopack and the Spanish division, Mosca Direct.

“We are combining our strengths to offer our customers even better solutions and services for their applications,” said Timo Mosca, Mosca Group shareholder.

“With this holding structure, Reisopack will formally become part of the Mosca Group, further strengthening our market position and enhancing our ability to deliver innovative packaging solutions to specific market segments.”

Oscar Saldaña, Reisopack managing director, added: “The merger will enable both companies to leverage synergies in the future, thereby offering customers in their respective market segments added value.”
