Rockwell Automation acquires autonomous robotics firm

Rockwell Automation has completed the acquisition of Canada-based Clearpath Robotics, a producer of autonomous robotics, including autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for industrial applications. The acquisition includes Clearpath Robotics’ namesake research division, and the industrial division Otto Motors, which provides AMRs.
