Brückner Maschinenbau has renewed its partnership with Coperion, awarding a new volume contract for ZSK Mc18 twin screw extruders to support plastics film stretching lines.
The German machinery manufacturer has worked with Coperion since 2008, initially using ZSK extruders for BOPP film lines. Over time, the collaboration has expanded to include BOPET, BOPLA and BOPA film lines.
Film quality consistency
Coperion’s ZSK extruders are used to melt and compound the materials that feed Brückner’s film stretching lines. The Mc18 series is designed to deliver high throughputs while maintaining lower melt temperatures, supporting consistent film quality.
Cornelia Koch, direct extrusion business segment manager at Coperion, said: “We greatly appreciate the close, constructive cooperation with Brückner Maschinenbau.
“Together, we have already successfully completed numerous projects. With the comprehensive expertise of our two companies, we have been able to develop many innovative solutions over the years that have increased the throughput rates of Brückner film stretching lines, boosted their efficiency, and improved film quality.”
