Successful deinking trials open doors

Inks and coatings producer Siegwerk has achieved “very successful results” from initial waste deinking trials with two partner firms in Germany. Siegwerk partnered with start-up Wildplastic and the Hamburg University of Technology (TU-Hamburg), with the aim of increasing the recyclability of plastics waste by deinking it before the recycling extrusion (regranulation) process.
