UK bag use up, but weight down

The Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) has published data showing that so-called ‘single-use’ bag use in the UK rose 3.2 per cent in 2013, although total carrier bag weight (including reusable bags) dropped by 4.4 per cent.
