Kingsmoor Packaging retains top BRCGS certification

UK-based thermoformed packaging specialist Kingsmoor Packaging has maintained its BRCGS AA grade under the updated version 7 of the Brand Reputation Compliance Global Standards for another year.

The BRCGS certification system spans grade D to AA (highest) and recognises compliance with rigorous requirements on manufacturing practices, hygiene, quality control, and food safety.

“Achieving a consecutive AA grade consistently over 10 years provides our customers, both existing and prospective, with reassurance of our commitment to producing safe, quality, and legally compliant thermoformed packaging products,” said James Hill, managing director of the Somerset-based business.

‘Hard work and resolve’

“We are very proud to be awarded the highest standard, which is a credit to the hard work and resolve of our employees.”

Kingsmoor’s Forming a Better Future strategy focuses on making plastics packaging as sustainable and environmentally responsible as possible.

Today, 50 per cent of the company’s electricity is generated through on-site renewable energy.

Last month, the packaging specialist bolstered its commercial team with a new business development manager.

Kieran Thomas is responsible for developing and supporting both existing and new customer accounts.
